Meet YOUR PHYSIOTHERAPIST
Hi, I'm Paula! I have been practicing as a Physical Therapist for over 30 years. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy with distinction from the University of Saskatchewan in 1994, following my Bachelor of Science in Anatomy in 1992. I am passionate about supporting function and quality of life, particularly within the older adult population.
Throughout my career, I have worked in a wide range of clinical settings, including Community Services Home Care, the Geriatric Evaluation and Management Program (GEM), and the Saskatoon Rehab Centre, along with experience in inpatient orthopedics and hospital-based cardiorespiratory services. I have attended numerous post-graduate courses over my career, including Neuro Development Training (NDT), Parkinson Wellness Recovery (PWR) certification with Dr. Becky Farley and Vestibular Rehab with North 49.
I am a prairie girl at heart, being raised in Eston, Saskatchewan. I have always had an active lifestyle and continue to play competitive volleyball, including ongoing training for the Huntsmen World Senior Games. I also enjoy CrossFit, the outdoors, gardening, cooking, travel, and spending time with my husband and our two adult sons. One of my favourite traditions is our extended family dinner every Sunday evening.
